Federation Medallion The Federation's highest honor. Awarded by the President of the United Federation of Planets to a member of Starfleet who has distinguished him or herself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their own life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the Federation. Federation Star The Federation Star is awarded to a person who, while a member of Starfleet, distinguishes himself conspicuously by bravery and valor at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the Federation; while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force. The deed performed must have been one of personal bravery or self-sacrifice so conspicuous as to clearly distinguish the individual above his comrades and must have involved risk of life. Incontestable proof of the performance of the service will be exacted. President's Medal Awarded for superior combat and non-combat services and devotion to duty whilst in service of the Federation. May be recommended by any member of Starfleet who holds the duties of Commanding officer, but required Federation Approval prior to issuance. Only 1500 are issued throughout the Federation each year. Federation Order The Federation Order is issued to those who have serve the Federation in an unselfish manner for a period of at least, but not less than one year and has no disciplinary issues on record. May be recommended by any member of Starfleet who holds the duties of Commanding officer, but required Federation Approval prior to issuance. Only 200 are issued throughout the Federation each year. Federation Order Of Merit The Federation Order of Merit is issued to those who have serve the Federation in an unselfish manner for a period of at least, but not less than one year and has no disciplinary issues on record. Does not hold quite the prestige as the Federation Order Commendation. May be recommended by any member of Starfleet who holds the duties of Commanding officer, but required Federation Approval prior to issuance. Only 1000 are issued throughout the Federation each year. UFP Council Medal Of Honor The Federation's highest honor. Awarded by the President of the United Federation of Planets to a member of Starfleet who has distinguished him or herself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their own life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the Federation. Presidential Unit Citation Conferred on units of the Armed Forces of the Federation and of cobelligerent nations, for extraordinary heroism in action against an enemy. The unit must display such gallantry, determination, and esprit de corps in accomplishing its mission as to set it apart from and above other units participating in the same campaign. The degree of heroism required is the same that which would warrant award of the Distinguished Service Cross to an individual. Golden Starburst Awarded for extraordinary heroism, not justifying the award of a Federation Star, to any person who, while a member of Starfleet engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force against an enemy of the Federation. The act or acts of heroism must have been so notable and have involved risk of life so extraordinary as to set the individual apart from his or her comrades. Starfleet Cross The Starfleet Cross is awarded to an Officer who has distinguished him or herself by extraordinary heroism while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United Federation of Planets. The heroism must have been notable and have involved extraordinary risk of life. Star of Starfleet Awarded to those officers and crew who have served in Starfleet for over thirty years, as consistently solid, and dependable officers. Given to officers and crew who are constantly "in the thick of things." Starcross Awarded to officers who have displayed the highest ideals Starfleet stands for. Legion of Honor The recipient has been noted by Starfleet Command has an honorable and extremely valuable individual. Nebula Star Awarded to members of Starfleet who distinguished themselves by gallantry and intrepidity in action, but not of a nature to justify the award of the Valor Cross, while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force. Preantares Cluster The Preantares Cluster is awarded to military personnel or civilians who have saved the life of a Federation civilian through peaceful means. The decoration is a stylized Preantarian lamb surrounded by a green wreath with the inscription 'High Protector' below. Legion Of Merit-Commanders The Legion of Merit is awarded to any member of the Starfleet who has distinguished him or herself by exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements. The performance must have been such as to merit recognition of key individuals for service rendered in a clearly exceptional manner. Starfleet Medal Of Valor Awarded to non-commissioned officers and men for an act or acts of exceptional valour, courage or devotion to duty, though not in active operations against the enemy. Valor Cross The Valor Cross is awarded to a person who, while serving in any capacity with Starfleet, distinguishes himself by bravery and valor above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the Federation; while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force. The deed performed must have been so conspicuous as to clearly distinguish the individual above his comrades. The required self-sacrifice, while of a lesser degree than that required for the Starfleet Cross, must nevertheless have been performed with marked distinction. Silver Star Awarded to Officers, Warrant Officers, and non-commissioned members of Starfleet and Starfleet Marines for acts of conspicuous gallantry whilst in active operations against the enemy. Bronze Star The Bronze Star Medal is awarded to an Officer who has distinguished him or herself by heroic or meritorious achievement or service, not involving military or combat action with an enemy. Red Crest Awarded to a member of Starfleet who has suffered major or permanent injuries while showing extraordinary courage in the fulfilling of his or her duties while defending the United Federation of Planets. POW Ribbon Awarded to those members of Starfleet who have been held captive as a Prisoner of War at any given time. Purple Heart Awarded to any member of Starfleet for being wounded in the line of duty. Citation Of Valor The recipient has contributed in a major way to the resolution of an important mission. Cross Of Distinction The Distinguished Service Cross is awarded to an Officer who has distinguished him or herself with exceptionally meritorious service to the Federation in a duty of great responsibility. The performance must be such as to merit recognition for service which is clearly exceptional. Cross Of Gallantry Any Starfleet Forces Personnel who goes 'out of their way' to help Starfleet officers, United Federation of Planets, Protectorates, and/or Allied civilians is eligible for this award. Recognition Of Merit Recognition of improved performance in duties. (OOC: Writing has greatly improved) Meritorious Service This medal is awarded to members of Starfleet for exceptional achievement which substantially contributes to the accomplishment of Federation missions or major programs. Command Cluster Awarded to those Officers who have commanded a Starship. SFMC Order of Merit The Marine Order of Merit is awarded under the same criteria as the Federation Order of Merit, but only to those members of the Starfleet Marine Corps who have met said criteria. Commendations Starfleet Commendation Awarded to members of Starfleet who, while serving in any capacity with the Federation, shall have distinguished themselves by meritorious achievement and service. The degree of merit must be distinctive, though it need not be unique. Acts of courage which do not involve the voluntary risk of life may be considered for the Commendation award. Bravery Commendation Awarded to crew who selflessly perform an act of bravery. Commendation for Excellence Awarded to those Starfleet Officers who have stood out in the fields of Security, Navigation and Tactical. Commendation for Excellence Awarded to those Starfleet Officers who have stood out in the fields of Engineering and Operations. Commendation for Excellence Awarded to those Starfleet Officers who have stood out in the various fields of scientific study. Commendation for Excellence Awarded to those Starfleet Officers who have stood out in the various medical fields. For Tactical Field Tactical Cross coming soon For Engineering Field Cochrane Medal Of Excellence Awarded to Engineering Officers for exceptional ingenuity. Scott Award For Engineering Excellence Awarded to Engineering Officers for exceptional ingenuity "under fire". For Scientific Field Vulcan Science Academy Legion Of Honor Awarded for exceptional discoveries in the Sciences fields by the Vulcan Science Academy. Trill Science Academy Award Awarded for exceptional discoveries in the Sciences fields by the Trill Science Academy. For Medical Field McCoy Cluster Awarded to those in the Medical fields who overcome great adversity in attempting to heal the sick and injured. Medical Achievement Awarded to those who make achievements in the medical field no one else has made before. For Piloting Pilot's Cross Awarded to those Starfleet Officers who have passed the Level 5 Pilot's Exam. Required prerequisite in order to achieve Navigational status at and/or above a Galaxy-Class vessel and greater tonnage. Distinguished Pilot's Cross Awarded to those Starfleet Officers who have passed the Level 8 Pilot's exam, certifying them to a Navigation status upon any Starfleet and/or Federation vessel. Pilot's Wings Awarded to those Starfleet Officers who have passed the Level 9 Pilot's exam, certifying them to a Navigation status upon any Starfleet and/or Federation vessel, in addition to marking them as highly proficient with starfighter piloting. Sulu Award for Piloting coming soon Completed Training Academy Bar For graduates of Starfleet Academy Academy Bar Top of Class Those graduates who finished in the top 1% of their class. Medical Graduate Graduates of Starfleet Medical or other accredited Medical School. Advanced Tactical Training Awarded to Starfleet officers who have successfully completed advanced tactical training courses at Starfleet Academy. Bridge Officer Awarded to Starfleet officers who have successfully completed Bridge Officer Training and are qualified to be the shift commanding officer on a starship. Marksman Awarded to those members of Starfleet who have excelled in the skill of Marksmanship in handheld weapons. Expert Marksmanship Awarded to those members of Starfleet who have extraordinary skill of Marksmanship in handheld weapons. Warrant Officer Graduation For enlisted personnel who have graduated from the warrant officer school. Special Forces Training For Starfleet Marines who have completed Special Forces training. Starfleet Service Longevity 10 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least ten years in Starfleet. 20 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least twenty years in Starfleet. 30 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least thirty years in Starfleet. 40 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least forty years in Starfleet. 50 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least fifty years in Starfleet. 60 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least sixty years in Starfleet. 70 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least seventy years in Starfleet. 80 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least eighty years in Starfleet. 100 Year Service Ribbon Awarded to those who have served at least one hundred years in Starfleet. "Action" Clusters Aean Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Aean. Borg Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Borg. Breen Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Breen. Cardassian Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Cardassians. Dominion Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Dominion. Hydran Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Hyrans. Klingon Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Klingon Empire. Reman Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Reman Ascendenacy. Romulan Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the Romulan Empire. T'Kith'Kin Cluster Awarded to those who have been involved in offensive or defensive action against the T'Kith'Kin Hive.
